Hi, I'm Ryan and this June, I’m climbing to the summit of Snowdon to help tackle one of the biggest challenges men face: mental health.
I’m raising funds for Men’s Minds Matter, a charity dedicated to preventing male suicide and supporting those who feel like they’ve run out of options.
Too many men suffer in silence. Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death for men in the UK, and the stigma around opening up still prevents many from getting the support they need. Men’s Minds Matter is working to break that silence - offering life-saving resources, education, and support tailored specifically for men.
This climb is more than a personal challenge - it’s a symbol of the uphill battles many men face every day. By taking on Snowdon, I hope to raise awareness, start conversations, and raise vital funds to help this important charity continue its work.
For those back home in Cape Town, Snowdon’s summit is roughly the same height as Table Mountain - so if you’ve ever stood at the top of that iconic peak, you’ll know the scale of this climb.
I’ve set a fundraising goal of £300. Every donation—no matter the amount—makes a real difference. Together, we can help more men find hope, support, and the strength to keep going.
Thank you for backing this cause and helping me take meaningful steps for men’s mental health.

Tackling the highest mountain in England and Wales (1,085m) during the daytime is a great challenge, but reaching the peak at sunset and having a blanket of stars as your backdrop on the descent brings another sense of achievement to an awesome trek.
