Rob is going walkabout again - and this time its 3 (or 4) hikes in 1 - including a couple of ancient pilgrimages - as I look to solo walk St Cuthbert's Way (with a slight excursion along part of the Borders Abbeys Way) across the Scottish borders from Melrose to Lindisfarne, followed immediately by St Oswald's Way - from Lindisfarne down the Northumbrian Coast and inland to Heavenfield - and then straight along Hadrian's Wall Path to Carlisle.

This will be around 240 miles in total - over 14 days - all starting on 26th June!!

I am so fortunate to be able to undertake this hike - and just hope that my feet and legs hold-up.

It would be amazing, if you felt you might be able to provide a small sponsorship to help push me on my way - and to assist the wonderful work of Touchstones, as it supports children and young people whose lives have been turned upside down by grief. The support Touchstones provides is making a huge difference, and is transforming lives, and helping these wonderful young people to rediscover hope for their futures. As a mum recently told us - ''we got our little boy back thanks to Touchstones, and we will be eternally grateful for everything you've done''.

It takes around £370 to support each child and young person, and so over £48,000 is needed for the 130 or so children and young people that Touchstones comes alongside each year. Touchstones can only continue to offer this support thanks to the generous donations of so many individuals and organisations. If you felt able to join in with this - no matter how small - it that would be absolutely amazing and will make a huge difference. Thank you in anticipation
