💜 International Women’s Day: “Give to Gain”,  Supporting Women to Rebuild and Reconnect

This International Women’s Day, the theme “Give to Gain” feels more important than ever. When we give, we don’t just offer help, we open doors to safety, confidence, and community for women who urgently need it.

That’s why I’m raising funds for Nottingham Women’s Centre, a place where women facing trauma, poverty, or isolation can finally feel seen and supported. Many women arrive feeling alone and overwhelmed, unsure of their next step. At the Centre, they find counselling, practical guidance, and the chance to regain stability. But they also find something just as vital: belonging.

Through free and low‑cost counselling, training, activities, workshops, and networking groups, women are able to build friendships, reduce isolation, grow new skills, and reconnect with the world around them. These social‑inclusion opportunities can be life‑changing, they restore confidence, dignity, and hope.
