Cathays Inclusive Youth Provision (IYP) is a safe, welcoming space where young people with additional learning needs can express themselves, build friendships, and grow in confidence.

Based at Cathays Community Centre, our programme offers a rich mix of creative and active opportunities: art, drama, music, sport, and much more. During school holidays, we run daily trips to exciting places — helping young people explore the world around them and make lasting memories.

With over 140 members, every young person plays a part in shaping what we do. We listen to their ideas and encourage peer-led projects, giving them ownership and pride in their achievements.

Behind the scenes, our team of youth workers, support staff, and volunteers work with dedication and heart to provide the guidance and encouragement each young person needs.
