Myself, Alex Kotri, Geordie Wilson and Louisa Jones will be attempting an inflatable obstacle course to help raise funds for St Lukes School and Collett School on 22nd June
Both are special needs settings within Herts catering for syndromes such a Downs and Autism, unfortunatly, funding for all schools is getting more difficult every year and these two are near the lowest funded in The County
My son, Curtis has Autism and GDD and whilst we do have struggles, his past 5 years attending St Lukes has been filled with laughter, fun, and awful lot of learning. he's had the chance to build confidence in all aspects of learning. A huge part of St Luke’s is animal therapy and Curtis has had the benefit of learning how to feed a parrot. For a boy that hates birds this is a huge accomplishment.
We would like to raise as much money as possible to help the school to provide for the children yet to require their expertise
