Update Sept 2025 🤗

Well done to all the runners yesterday all finished and had a fab day.

Thank you to all our family and friends who have supported us this year to raise money for Type1Kidz Diabetes charity. I have had children say they have had fun on this years events already including camping trips.

I am a Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Nurse and would like to raise money for a local charity that helps children and young people in the North East with Diabetes to have fun and get support from other families.

Ella is a Paediatric student nurse and would like to raise money to help this charity that helps children we work with by running the London Marathon 🤗
The charity provides support and arranges trips and activities for children with Type 1 Diabetes

Update 27th April

Ella has Completed the Marathon fantastic running on a very hot day!! Ella completed it 5.06 hours yay!!!

Ella said having cared for families of children with Type 1 and knowing the challenges that they face daily living with diabetes helped her with the challenges on the day 🤗

Update April 25

Busy week! Ella has passed her Nursing degree and Marathon training all completed for Sunday 🤗

Update since GNR 2024
My 3 Children Abi, Ella and Cameron are all ran the Great North Run half marathon  2024 for the first time together and all would like to thank everyone for raising over £300 so far for Type1Kidz 🤗. (They are running GNR again 2025 along with Reece an me as well all raising money for Type1Kidz.

Ella also has a place in the London marathon 2025 and will be raising money for this too!
