Team Fundraisers
James will be walking 5 miles from Richmond to Kingston along the Thames Path. He is raising money for Yorda Adventures which is a charity which provides play and activity sessions for children and young people with severe learning difficulties. The Yorda playhouse provides indoor and outdoor activities including a sensory room, bouncy castle, trampoline, accessible bikes, toys and a forest play area. Pre-Covid, Yorda also organised fun activities and short breaks for the children to allow them to have experiences which are not usually available to them, and also to provide valuable respite for parents. The pandemic has hit Yorda's finances hard as they have not been able to hold their usual fundraising activities which is why James is walking to support them.
