I have been recently inspired by the photo’s of Urmstonion Mike Koch and his mate Eddie who recently ran the Manchester Marathon barefooted to raise funds for some local kids facing hardship. Apart from the shocking pictures of the runners injured feet from the Marathon the story of young local lad Max who is battling Leukaemia really touched me as my mother in law suffered this cruel disease and sadly lost her battle. I’d really like to help send Max on a wonder Holliday that he really deserves after battling through the challenges that come with fighting off Leukaemia. I shared this sentiment with riff raff and was encouraged to help raise funds for Max as I go way out of my comfort zone to hike 84 miles of Hadrians wall before pressing on for a further 5 miles to complete a coast to coast west to east Britain challenge. Helping to push wheelbarrows dressed as as Roman’s really adds a fun layer to a really big challenge. It’s the maddest most challenging mission I’ve ever taken on.
If you can support me with a small donation i’d be well chuffed.
Thanks
James
