Hello all,
On 9th May 2026 I will be joining my dear friend Samantha's husband Mark and his pals in..... abseiling down the worlds tallest permanent abseil, the National Lift Tower, which is a rather tall landmark which is overlooking the Northampton Saints ground at 418ft (127m).
Milton Keynes Rugby Union Football club has been a huge part of both Samantha and Marks life. This fundraiser event is part of the 10th year of MKRUFC's infamous Ring of Fire (RoF) which supports:
Milton Keynes RFC: MKRUFC
Willen Hospice : Willen Hospice | Compassionate Care for the Community
C-R-Y : Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY)
I am choosing to support this amazing cause for all the wonderful charities but specifically to raise money for Willen Hospice. They have been providing amazing palliative care for my friend Samantha and supported her husband and family over the past 9 months.
Willen Hospice is ran solely on charity funds and I would love to give something back to them, as they are currently providing the care, dignity and love that Samantha deserves. The funds that they receive will also ensure that others are provided with the same amazing care.
I would appreciate any support you are able to offer xx

The National Lift Tower based in Northampton is an iconic feat of architecture. At a staggering 418 feet, it is now the largest abseil tower in the world..... and I will be abseiling down it:) Factoid: Originally built in the 1980s as a testing facility for lifts and other specialist equipment.
