I have decided to take part in this event as it’s something I have a true passion about. Football and exercise in general is something that’s has helped me massively, especially through the hard times. I know from my own experience that when you step out onto a pitch the game is on your mind and it takes your thoughts away from anything else that may be going on. I truly believe when people come together as a team it makes them hard times that bit easier to cope with. Street Soccer NI do an amazing job and they deserve all the help and support they can get which is why I’ve decided to participate in the 5k/10k run to help raise some funds for them.
