My name is Simon Edwards, and I am the proud father of Jude, who was diagnosed with Autism in August 2024. Our journey has been filled with challenges, but also incredible support and love, especially from the charity STAND NW.

In the years leading up to Jude's diagnosis, STAND NW provided our family with invaluable resources, including courses and a welcoming community where we could connect with other parents facing similar experiences. Their support has been a lifeline for us, offering guidance, understanding, and a sense of belonging.

Now, I want to give back to STAND NW for all they have done for our family. To do this, I am taking part in my first 10k run at the Great Manchester Run on the 18th of May, 2025. I started my running journey in January 2025, and this event marks a significant milestone for me. I am aiming to raise £250 to help STAND NW continue their amazing work, supporting more families like ours. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference and help STAND NW provide essential services to those in need across North Wales.

STAND NW's mission is to empower, engage, and support families to advocate for their child's needs, enabling them to lead active and inclusive lives in their communities. Your support will help them continue this vital work.
