What We Do
Our charity is used by people with additional needs in Bristol, BANES, and South Glos.Although we are affiliated to national Mencap, we don’t receive any funding from them. What you are going to do funds us. We are a completely self-funded local charity based in Keynsham BS31 that provides social opportunities in the form of clubs. These clubs offer people with additional social, emotional and educational needs a place for fun and friendship. Our 9 weekly clubswelcome adults and children affected by a range of issues such as Down’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ASD, ADHD and Williams Syndrome. Some members also have autism, other neurodivergence, physical disabilities and complex needs. Our members travel from 3 local authorities, Bristol, BANES and South Glos., from Yate and Nailsea, from Bath and Bristol for our excellent services.
