Have set up one fundraising page to last me the year - please donate and help me raise funds for Carers Leeds.
Update - 6 months in!..
When I set up this page back in early May this year I’d been inspired from a couple of books and inspirational speeches about being Brave, rather than perfect, in life and the decisions we make. Trying something *before* knowing that we can achieve it, because just trying, can often be winning.
Setting myself a physical challenge a month, I’ve kept my training up, trying new things I’ve never had the confidence to do before, having courage to give things a go. Its been an amazing experience so far!
Nearly 6 months on, I’m certainly stronger, and still making brave choices.
Challenges complete:- Leeds Half Marathon- White Rose Sportive- FixAddiction Triathlon- York 10k- G-Force 10k Obstacle Race
Next.. Amsterdam Marathon!
Future month’s challenges to follow when I successfully don’t get injured running 26.2 miles!
Huge thank you to all the friends who have trained with me, or completed challenges with me, its been great to share this year with you all. And special thanks to everyone who has already donated! I’ve already raised more than I could have hoped and want to be able to give as much back to this great charity as I can, in hope they can help others in the way they helped me.
