Well what can I say!! 2 things our family know about are boxing and mental health. I’m a survivor of ptsd. 3 of my children box, my husband coaches. Tonic is a local charity supporting mental health with music!! It’s local, it’s relevant to me and all my family. Mental health problems affect so many people but few talk about it!! Break the taboo, open up and reach out to those that love you. I could not have recovered from my breakdown without talking to family and friends. The money raised will also go to help support 2 young men from gosport boxing club who lost their Mum suddenly a couple of months ago. Money will not change the fact they’ve lost their mum, but it may help in a small way to give them hope. Give them the knowledge that people care. I am stepping into a boxing ring after only 8 weeks training. 2 sessions down, only 22 to go!! I’ll be totally honest I’m absolutely crapping myself. I’m 41, unfit and overweight but my promise to my family was I will do this! Please spare a couple of quid to raise funds for an amazing charity. Those who want a laugh can also buy tickets for the main event on the 13th July!!
