I love the work the Riff Raff Society do. Unfortunately my notoriously crap Rugby Knee’s  have previously prevented me from joining in on as many of their missions as I’d have liked to be part of. However my surgeon has recently cleaned up my cartilage and The Tin Man is ready to have a go at Hadrian’s Wall. A Trek that I’ve  always fancied experiencing.
I think the cause is great so I’m proud to be part of the team:
Riff Raff Society is partnering with the Blake Family to honour their son Nathan who tragically passed away due to an undiagnosed heart condition.

To help limit the likelihood of a devastating tragedy like this happening to another local family in the future .
Our organisation is thrilled to support The Blake’s Wish to fund a second Trafford Heart monitoring event hosted by CRY (Cardiac/Respiratory in the Young) to screen approximately 100 young people who may be at risk.
To fund this we are walking Hadrians wall, going coast to coast in 4 days (Most adventure groups take 6/7 days) Bowness to Solway to Wallsend Newcastle is 84 miles with a further 5 miles taking us coast to caast ending in Tynemouth.
Our Mancunian Roman Army with be taking over The Wall pushing each other in Wheelbarrows along the whole route as part of a Madcap assault on this famous and historic trail.
Please part with a small donation to help me help and the Riff Raff Society to support this family in achieving something very special for our community. There is every chance your donation could save a life.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and support me
