I am going to swim the English Channel, from Dover to Calais... well the same distance of 41,055 metres but just in my local pool!!
I will be encountering this challenge over 6 months, from 1st July to 31 December.
This is an enormous challenge I am accepting and will be particularly difficult with my disability and health issues, I feel this just makes this challenge more exciting and I’m determined to do this.
Space means a lot to me and it has helped me immensely over the years. I would be delighted to be able to do this and raise money for this charity enabling them to help more people. Space is a lifeline and a life saver for many people going though difficult times.
Any donations towards this swim would be gratefully received and I would like to offer my sincere thanks in advance to everyone who feels able to support me in this.
This is an amazing Challenge and for a fantastic cause. We think you are are incredible for taking this on. Our prayers are with you on this, God Bless Karen & Kevin L x
