When my dad died, As the eldest son my pride didn't let me turn to anyone for help so I was stupid and got myself into trouble paying the whole £2400 funeral costs. And I've been paying interest on it for months so have barely managed to pay any of it off. And now I'm really struggling as it's impacting my health badly and ability to pay other bills or feed my kids. I've been ill past two months because of it. Im struggling to ask for help now because I don't think I could pay people back who might help me.
Good friends of mine have suggested I seek out the help of The Riff Raff Society. I feel some shame in doing so but I know I need to put my health before my pride.
