Haygrove Community Gardens Charity provides activities that improve the mental and physical health and well-being of disabled and disadvantaged adults, as well as children and their families, educating them about growing and nurturing plants, the natural world, our native wildlife, how we grow food and rural craft skills. We would like to expand our tabletop gardening group running at Leadon Bank in Ledbury to provide more therapeutic gardening activities. This project gives people an opportunity to experience the benefits of therapeutic horticulture by participating in activities like growing flowers, fruit, herbs and vegetables, nature observation, rural crafts, cooking and social activities. We are asking for help to buy tools, equipment and resources so that we can expand our activities and provide more sessions.
