Leeds for Change is a contemporary solution to a 21st century issue. Since 2014, it has existed as a hub for everyday people and grassroots campaigns from across Leeds to connect, build relationships, share skills, resources and amplify their movements using a digital platform for changemaking. Our unique role is to provide a gateway into activism and campaigning; a friendly guide to changemaking in Leeds. Our online tools include; an activist calendar, a venue-finder and groups database.

In today's political climate it is only too easy to feel alone in our despair and frustration with the injustice, polarisation and division we're living through. Meanwhile, activist groups are constantly lacking capacity to have a big impact and are frustrated that its always the same people who come to meetings or events. There is a desperate need to reinvigorate connection and social action, as well as clear pathways for new people to get involved in local grassroots activism.

Grassroots groups and campaigns benefit from being promoted to over 1500 members across Leeds. 'I'm so grateful someone signposted me to Leeds for Change when I was new to Leeds.
