I am taking part in the Race to the Sea - attempting to run 50k from Llangurig to Aberystwyth, closely following the River Ystwyth.
The money I raise will go to Care & Repair Cymru. This charity provided fantastic support for both my grandparents, carrying out assessments and adapting their homes so they could continue to live independently. It was an invaluable service that not only meant they were safe and warm in their own homes, but it gave them so much confidence at what can be a really vulnerable time.
