I’m raising money for Men’s Minds Matter because this year by taking part in the Llandudno Boxing Day dip, braving the cold Irish Sea on Boxing Day, this reminded me just how important it is for men to have real support. I’ve been through my own battles — with mental health, ADHD, BPD, anxiety, and getting sober — and there were times I genuinely felt lost. What helped me was finally having people who listened, understood, and didn’t judge.

That’s what Men’s Minds Matter are all about. They give men a safe place to talk, to open up, and to get the support they need before things become overwhelming. If I can help even one person find the kind of support that helped me, then this fundraiser is worth every second.
