I’m Walking Again to Support The Homeless Pastors!
Last year, I took on the gruelling challenge of St Cuthbert's Way to raise funds for The Homeless Pastors, and this year, I’m doing it again! This time, I”ll be walking 56 miles over four days on a pilgrimage in North Wales.
The Homeless Pastors do incredible work supporting rough sleepers and those at risk of homelessness. Often, churches and charities are the first place people turn to for help, but offering support to the homeless is complex and overwhelming without the right resources. That’s where The Homeless Pastors step in.
They provide in-depth, practical training for pastors and charity workers serving homeless communities, equipping them to navigate the challenges of outreach and offer effective support. By building a network of skilled, compassionate staff and volunteers, The Homeless Pastors are enabling people on the margins to find a supportive community and start rebuilding their lives.
Their mission means a lot to us at St Philip’s Centre and we are wanting to have an homeless pastor in Pendle. So I am taking on this tough challenge for the second year in a row. Could you sponsor me. Every donation goes directly to helping The Homeless Pastors equip more people to make a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness.
Your support will be amazing and will encourage all of us who are walking. Thank you for anything you can give.
