Dear supporters, family and friends,
I am taking on the London Marathon on X...date............
I will be fundraising for my friends' charity Erase Meso,
a charity dedicated to;
1. Raising funds for asbestos cancer research
2. Raising awareness of mesothelioma
3. Providing hope for mesothelioma sufferers

Mesothelioma (asbestos cancer) kills 5000 a year in the UK - we have the highest incidence of this cancer currently in the world.. yet there is no funding for research..
Despite being banned in the UK in 1999, a recent BBC inquiry found that nine out of 10 NHS hospitals still contain asbestos...and over 50% of UK homes..
The All Parliamentary Group on Occupational Health and Safety estimates that 75% of state schools in Britain contain asbestos. Children who are exposed to asbestos are 5 times more likely to contract the disease than adults aged 30, Government research has found.
This devastating disease kills a similar number of people to other cancers, such as skin cancer, yet investment into research is severely underfunded. Finding new and effective treatments is absolutely crucial if we are to save thousands of people who are at risk of developing mesothelioma.
ANY contribution will go a long way to help fund a cure - or at least a way of managing mesothelioma..
