I've found an event that, as a so called 'rollerblade w*nker' ( a name Ive been called by various strangers whilst out skating) is right up my street.
The 'ultraskate' is a 24 hour race to see how far you can skate in that period and 200 miles sees your name added to the 'wall of legends', so that's my target. No idea if I've got that in my legs or not, but definitely a good target to go at. I'll have my campervan trackside for rest/eating etc so will hopefully be able to get a good few miles under the belt. I'm going to do this one for a great charity, run by a friend of mine, and if you check out the work they do and the opportunities they afford to poorly, often terminally ill, children, you'll see that it's an excellent cause that's certainly worth supporting with a few quid. Ill give updates on the day of the event on facebook, and can promise there will be very limited, if any, lycra on display, unless I don't get enough sponsorship, in which case I'll bombard your feed with mingy lycra poses... And no ones eyes need that!
