Hi All,
I think we’ve lost our minds, on the 26th of May this year I will be running the Edinburgh marathon and Murron the half for Camphill School Aberdeen, an amazing charity that is extremely close to both of us. Camphill supports young people with complex additional support needs helping them reach their full potential.
My younger brother Finlay has autism, the thought of him finishing school and not having that regular routine was scary for the whole family. Luckily he managed to secure a spot at Camphill last year and has loved it ever since - especially learning to bake and time in the wood workshop!
Currently, Camphill is undertaking some huge projects that will not only give the young people more opportunities but allow more adults like my little brother to join the school.
We’re surviving training so far but finding it tough, especially Murron who seems to hate running more and more everyday so we’d appreciate any donations people are willing to make to this amazing charity.
We’ll update you all on how we've done after the marathon. Thankyou & Wish us luck!
Good luck, have fun and hope you enjoy it!
Good luck to you both, we'll be thinking about you on the day. Love from John, Lesley Anne, Callum, Hannah and Ian x
Good luck!! Xx
Jake's fundraising page will be accepting donations for another 54 days.
Proud of you both 👏 From Mum, dad and granny and granda
