Please support me by sponsoring me to cycle 100 miles in the Ford Ride-London Essex cycle ride in aid of the Pelvic Partnership. Have you ever heard of PGP (pelvic girdle pain)? Me neither, until my wife Fiona was on crutches and latterly a wheelchair during both pregnancies. It affects one in five pregnant women and is often dismissed as the normal aches and pains of pregnancy when in fact it causes completely unnecessary pain and immobility and in some cases complete disability. It is treatable throughout pregnancy, by manual physiotherapy, and when Fiona finally heard about this and accessed effective treatment, she was fully mobile again. The Pelvic Partnership exists to inform women with PGP, their families and carers about the condition's cause and treatment, and every penny raised goes to running the charity. Fiona has volunteered for it for over twenty years and has persuaded me to cycle 100 miles on Sunday 28th May in the Ford Ride-London Essex Cycle Ride as a fundraiser. Please support me as much as you can: every pound counts. So far training is going well and I have only fallen off three times. Photographic evidence available for extra donations!
