This memorial page has been created in loving memory of Mattie Thompson, at the wishes of his mum, Lesley Thompson. Mattie’s devastating death has left an immeasurable void, but in her enduring strength and compassion, Lesley has chosen to channel her grief towards something meaningful.

Lesley believes that Mattie’s passing can be a powerful force for good. In honour of his memory, she has kindly requested no flowers at the funeral. Instead, she asks that those wishing to pay their respects consider making a contribution to Men’s Minds Matter – an organisation dedicated to supporting mental health and suicide prevention.

Through this page, we hope to help raise awareness and provide some essential resources to help young men who are struggling, empowering them to find their own way of coping with life’s challenges.
