Did you know that there are more than 50,000 deaf Children in the UK?
NDCS (National Deaf Children's Society) know It’s important to encourage them – and their families – to dream big. Whether they want to excel in their exams, learn to drive, travel the world or get a great job, being deaf should never hold them back.
That's why NDCS need your support, and why I'm doing a SkyDive to Help Raise as much money as possible for them.
I've always wanted to do something to raise money for Charity rather than just lazily donating to other people’s great shows of endurance, strength, athleticism or bravery.
I don't possess any of the above qualities, but I am stupid, so jumping out of a plane is the event for me 😁
I'll be doing the jump on Sunday 9th May 2021, taking off from Nottingham Airfield. So please donate quickly!!!
Anything I raise will be matched by my employer, Access.
If you like to support charities but are unsure of why to support this one, Take a look at Henry's story Here
I work with Henry's Parents; Adam & Kayleigh at Access and their story is why this charity is so important to us.
Here's a little more about NDCS:
We work to overcome the social and educational barriers that hold deaf children and young people back. We give expert support on childhood deafness, raise awareness and campaign for deaf children’s rights, so they have the same opportunities as everyone else. We’re here for every deaf child who needs us – no matter what their level or type of deafness or how they communicate. We give expert unbiased support to help deaf children and their parents make informed choices about their lives.
