
Hi, my name is Max, and this year I am taking on a challenge that will push me to my absolute limits, running over 400 miles across eight races around the UK from February to October.
But this is not just about miles.
And it is not just about medals.
I truly believe that movement is medicine. Whether it is walking, running, swimming, or cycling, movement has the power to heal. It builds strength in the body, but even more importantly, it builds resilience in the mind. In some of my hardest moments, movement has grounded me, cleared my head, and reminded me that I am capable of more than I think.
Across these eight races there will be pain. There will be doubt. There will be moments where quitting feels easier than continuing. But that discomfort is temporary.
What many men are facing in silence right now is not.
Too many men are struggling behind closed doors, battling mental health challenges, isolation, and pressure without feeling able to speak up. This challenge stands for them. For the men who feel they have to stay strong on the outside while fighting privately on the inside.
Every mile I run is a reminder that we do not have to suffer in silence.
