Last year I was part of a group that each ran 100 miles in May to raise money for a fantastic charity, Flamingo Chicks, who support children with disabilities and serious illnesses.
This May people are fundraising again, and Phil Maclean and I have set a more daunting challenge. We’re both trying to cycle 1,000 miles in May. I do like a bit of cycling, but that works out at 30+ miles a day, which in the British weather and on the hills of Bristol is no easy feat.
So a bit of financial encouragement would really help to keep me going!
Great effort G. Amazing charity.
Great effort, now rest the legs!
Congratulations GezGaz !

About May 1000
Phil Maclean and I are both attempting to cycle 1,000 miles in May to raise some much needed funds for Flamingo Chicks, a fantastic charity supporting disabled and seriously ill children. A very worth cause, but 30+ miles a day is no mean feat with the British weather and the Bristol hills.
