⛰️ Climbing Snowdon for Men’s Mental Health ⛰️

On Tuesday 19th May, I’ll be taking on the challenge of climbing Snowdon to raise money and awareness for Men’s Minds Matter, a charity that provides life-saving support for men in suicidal crisis.

Men’s mental health is something that doesn’t get spoken about enough. Too many men suffer in silence, feeling like they have to “man up” rather than ask for help. Men’s Minds Matter offers professional psychological support to men when they need it most — and this climb is my way of giving something back.

I’m currently 10 weeks into a dedicated fitness and weight-loss programme and have already lost 3 stone (36 pounds). I continue to get fitter by the day, pushing myself with 12-mile walks, long hikes, gym sessions, and boxing — 6 days a week. This climb isn’t a last-minute challenge; it’s part of a much bigger journey focused on improving both physical and mental health.

The climb itself will be tough, both physically and mentally, and it represents the daily battles so many men face behind closed doors. Every donation, no matter how small, helps fund vital support services and shows that men are not alone.

If you’re able to donate, please do — and if you can’t, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much. I’ll be posting training updates and live progress from the climb up the mountain, so please keep up to date and follow the journey.

Let’s break the stigma, start conversations, and support men’s mental health together.

Thank you for your support ❤️
