As many of you know this Sunday 3rd April, I will be running the Paris Marathon to raise money for Sunnyside Rural Trust, a Hertfordshire-based charity that provides horticultural training for people with learning disabilities.
Through my role as Head Gardener at the Orchard and as a designer working at Tom Stuart-Smith, I have been fortunate enough to experience both the physical and mental benefits of gardening and believe strongly in making this accessible to as many people as possible.
As part of the Serge Hill Project for Gardening, Creative and Health, a not-for-profit initiative offering resources to local schools and charities, as well as local residents who want to get involved in gardening, we will be working with Sunnyside so that they can develop a propagation nursery in the Orchard and grow a range of perennials on site for commercial sale.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated !!!!! XX
