This appeal will strengthen us in reaching out and connecting with marginalised communities and anyone who feels a responsibility for social justice and is active in promoting and ensuring it. We want them to find their own journey to justice and learn about struggles for rights and freedoms in their community building on hope unleashed during the general election. JtoJ aims to inspire and empower people to take action for social justice through learning about human rights movements and the arts. We want to promote community cohesion and the understanding that change will only happen if 'ordinary' people like ourselves stand-up for our own and each other's rights in solidarity and make sure we use our voice. This is what the campaigns for civil rights, women's rights and LGBT rights show.
