Nichola takes on the Big Half

I first came along to a session at The Big Red Bus Club to meet a friend in a child friendly setting. Little did I know, I had stumbled upon a place that would become of the utmost importance to my family. When I had my first, it was great to have somewhere welcoming to come along and chat with other parents while my son explored. Then when my second came along, it was great to have somewhere with a safe space, where my eldest could roam whilst I fed the baby and where there was always a listening ear was invaluable to me. We have laughed and cried at club, we've splashed in puddles, baked in the mud kitchen and tried new things. I have drunk copious amounts of tea, but most importantly made life long friends. 
After a period of volunteering, I was elected onto the committee where I have seen bus club go from strength to strength. However, the club does rely on donations to keep doors open and activities free, which is why I will be running The Big Half.
