I'm running Sheffield 10k on Sunday 22nd and would love to raise some dosh for the fantastic free festival, Peace in the Park, held every summer in Sheffield. Peace in the park brings together communities through art and music.
I started running, after years off, last winter. I got up to 5k, with some hard work and support from Strideout running club. Now I take a group of women out every week on a sociable, local run. But it's been hard to get above 5k and I've not yet done 8!
I did it. 1hr7.05 :-) so pleased. It was lovely. Thanks to all the people cheering. Any last minute donations to peace in the park happily accepted. Cheers to family and friends for donating x
