This year, with your help, we have helped around 300 dogs to have a better, brighter, happier future.

It costs around £12,000 a month to run Pro Dogs and sadly we know from experience that the number of dogs needing our help in the run up to Christmas and the weeks after will increase massively.

This year's Christmas Appeal aims to provide a necessary boost to ensure that we can continue to help as many dogs as possible. Your support will help unwanted, abandoned, neglected, abused and sick dogs to get the help, care and rehabilitation they need. We can't change the awful things that have happened in their past, but with your help we can do all we can to give them the chance of a happier, healthier future.

Dobby, abandoned at the vets to be euthanised because of a broken leg - we couldn't let that happen so we've paid his bills and bought him home to safety

Frankie, abandoned to stray at 10 months old, she arrived terrified but is now living her best life with a new family that love her to bits

Paddy, a tiny pup born with no front feet, we're making it possible for him to enjoy the great life he deserves

Dolly, an ex-breeding dog who is learning to trust humans and is now destined to live life as a much loved pet
