In September we'll be cycling 55 miles from London to Brighton!

Whilst Pete is an avid cyclist, Emily and Sarah haven't cycled more than 10 minutes in years. According to Google the ride will take us 4-6 hours. Eek!

We would love to raise some money for the brilliant charity Refugee, Asylum Seeker and Migrant Action (RAMA), where Pete volunteers.

RAMA is a small charity based in our home town of Colchester, which supports refugees and asylum seekers from war-torn countries, and victims of domestic violence or trafficking.

RAMA helps people creating a new life for themselves by:

• Giving advice and guidance on the asylum-seeking process

• Helping with school applications, doctors’ visits and signposting

• Supporting with job applications and English lessons

• Putting people in touch with local befrienders.

• Running a programme of sessions on computing, crafts and other activities.

• Giving things such as food, furniture and toys.
