The different equipment will be open the whole time when there is light. It is free. The Play equipment for children; the skateboard / scooter / bike half-pipe for older young people and the trim trail for everyone helping make our site really inter-generational. We will soon have open a café to go to after, or even before. We will also work closely with the School/local Playgroups to encourage use as well as promotion to families with young people locally - through Parish magazines/posters

We need more Play equipment at KC Active to cater for the different age ranges of children in the area. We have bids in for funds from East Northamptonshire Council and KCEA / Augean Community Fund but need our own fundraising to contribute to the costs of over £50 000 for - additional Play equipment, fencing to keep children safe and away from the car park (and dogs out of the space) and seating for parents and grandparents. We will also install new half-pipe skateboard space and trim trail

It will support increased usage of our site by young aged children, accompanied by members of their family. The half-pipe will provide much needed space for older young people, providing an appropriate space for them to hang-out. The trim trail is open to anyone and everyone. Encouraging people to be active, children and adults but particularly focusing on the fun of play which is good for both physical and mental health
