Reading Blue Coat's annual Inclusion Day is a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate every individual in our community, understand our differences and learn something new about those different to ourselves. We hope that our students will enjoy the day and take away something positive from the event.

The main focus of the day will be a talk and Q+A session with Jason Arday. Jason Arday is a Professor of Sociology of Education at the University of Cambridge.

The Equality and Inclusion Day will be a home clothes day. This year we will be raising money for Reading Family Aid who support children living with poverty and other disadvantages in the Reading area. The recommended donation is £2
