I am setting myself the challenge to run 100 KM throughout the month of May for the brilliant charity Flamingo Chicks.
What is Flamingo Chicks? It is an inclusive community giving all children, including disabled children and those with illnesses such as cancer, the opportunity to enjoy dance and explore movement alongside friends. They also provide a vital peer support network for parents and carers, intergenerational volunteering, global outreach and advocacy.
I've been a volunteer for Flamingo Chicks for 6 years and absolutely love the work they do. As a keen dancer I think it's so important to be able to give EVERYONE the chance to express themselves through dance, no matter what their ability.
We would be really grateful for any donation you can give - every little helps.
