To celebrate World Book Week, the Senior Readership Team at Leigh Primary School will be taking on a sponsored 10-hour Readathon to raise funds for a beautiful wooden Storytelling Chair for our new outdoor classroom.

We are aiming to raise £629.99 to purchase this specially crafted chair, which will create a dedicated space for teachers to bring stories to life and inspire our youngest learners through interactive story sessions. By providing a nurturing and immersive storytelling environment, the chair will help foster a love of reading, support early literacy skills, and lay the foundations for a lifelong appreciation of books and learning.
