The RWF, with the help of many dedicated and wonderful volunteers, helps people who've been involved with the criminal justice system to explore their potential beyond previous beliefs and to create positive futures for themselves and their families.
Each year, an RWF Challenge Team takes on a challenge to raise awareness of this invaluable work and to raise funds to support its delivery.
In 2019, at The Royal Windsor Triathlon, I rode 22 km as part of a 3 person relay team in the 'Sprint' distance category which was quite an acheivement for me at that time.
Some of the photos on this page are of me at the Triathlon in 2019. I will be adding more as training progresses.
This year, our planned Windsor Triathlon in June was cancelled due to COVID restrictions, so we switched to a new event.
This time, I will be taking on more of a challenge, at the Dorney Lake Duathlon on Sunday 19th September, where I will Run 5km, Ride 21.2km and then finish with a quick 2.5km sprint.
All the money I raise here will go towards supporting the work of the RWF's LifeChanger Mentoring programme, working with people leaving custody and those in the community.
Please give generously and thank you for taking the time to read this far!
Wish me luck!
Roger

Training is going well for this event, lots of running and cycling with strength and stamina training included. This will be my first ever Duathlon and I'm very much looking forward to it.
Good luck!
