Living with Dementia is difficult, but through access to the arts, we can alleviate some of those difficulties through the provision of structured and enjoyable sessions at three museums in Somerset.

The Holburne is a much loved independent museum in Bath but you may not know it delivers arts projects to vulnerable groups in our community. We firmly believes that access to art can change lives and have identified that individuals with Dementia can greatly benefit from the opportunity to be involved in Art. We have funds to deliver the project in 2015, but would like to ensure its delivery over the coming three years.

Art therapy won't eliminate the illness, but it can stimulate the brain in a new direction. The creativity and happiness that art brings can make all the difference in the life of a loved one who's been progressively in decline.
