I’m sharing details of a madcap adventure set up by my mentalist Brother. Now I’m out of the military I have absolutely no excuses (Thanks to my great boss) to deny my nutter brother his wish to involve me in his idea of fun. (Extreme adventures in Fancy dress!). Anyone that knows me will have an awareness of my shocking knee situation and I won’t bore you with it but ultimately I shouldn’t be mooching the breadth of England in 4 days helping to lug even worse conditioned Mancunians around in wheelbarrows but you know what our kid is onto something and this is an adventure that I’m so looking forward to.
So I’m very proud to be partnering with The Riff Raff Society and the Blake Family to honour their son Nathan who tragically passed away due to an undiagnosed heart condition. To help limit the likelihood of a devastating tragedy like this happening to other families in the future .
Riff Raff are thrilled to support The Blake’s Wish to fund a second Heart monitoring event hosted by CRY (Cardiac/Respiratory in the Young) to screen as many young people at risk from Cardiac issues as possible at a cost of around £11,000 for funding the day.
To fund this we are walking Hadrians wall, going coast to coast in 4 days (Most adventure groups take 6/7 days) Bowness to Solway to Wallsend Newcastle is 84 miles with a further 5 miles taking us coast to caast ending in Tynemouth.
I’m going to be part of a MancRoman Army that will be taking over The Wall pushing each other in Wheelbarrows along the whole route as part of a Madcap assault on this famous and historic trail.
Please part with a small donation to help me help and the Riff Raff Society to support this family in achieving something very special as there is every chance your donation could save a life.
Looking forward to a dress up 😂
Big Thanks
