RiverVoice
A Community Choir programme run by Fat Lady Opera CIC.
RiverVoice is friendly choir that caters for people with and without visual impairment; mobility challenges and longterm mental health conditions.
Over half of our members are aged 60+ and we often work in collaboration with local schools to provide free Big Sing events.
We aim to make the choir fees as affordable as possible and each term we aim to offer at least 3 bursaries.
During this time of financial burden we are raising funds to extend this offer and bring all member subs down, so that financial circumstances are not a barrier to taking part.
To do this we need to raise £6,000 across the course of the year to pay for Venue hire; Music Director fees; Pianist fees; Web-site hosting; Marketing; Insurance; Volunteer training etc.
The RiverVoice community choir brings laughter and belonging to all its members, and inspiration and delight to its audiences and collaborators. Please come along to a concert if you can.
