There was a time when my life was trapped in the cycle of substance misuse. I know the darkness, the loneliness, and the feeling of being stuck with no way forward. But I also know the power of change, the hope that comes when you find the right support, and the strength that comes from not giving up.

Today, I am proud to say I’ve turned my life around. My past doesn’t define me anymore — instead, it drives me to help others who are facing the same struggles I once did.

That’s why on 7th November in Blackburn, I’ll be taking part in a fundraiser for The Light Group — an amazing organisation dedicated to helping people out of homelessness and addiction, giving them the chance to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference for someone who is still fighting for their future.
