We are a Brighton-based company called Roots Research, and two of our core values are making a difference and compassion. We are committed to raising money for a wonderful charity that helps so many people.
Survivors Network provides crucial support to survivors of sexual violence. They offer a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can receive counselling and support. Additionally, they provide training on the prevalence and realities of sexual violence and its profound effects on survivors.
In 2022, 1.1 million people aged 16 and over were victims of sexual assault, a 31% increase from the previous year. This number is expected to have risen since then. It is vital to shed light on this issue, which has affected so many, and to help those in need find the support they deserve.
We invite you to join us in making a difference. Your support can help Survivors Network continue their essential work. Whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness, every little bit helps.
We are raising money by taking part in a 4-week Wellbeing Challenge. Each week, we will complete a wellbeing task that pushes us outside of our comfort zone. Here is the schedule:
Week 1 (03/02-09/02) - Run or walk 5K 3 times this week
Week 2 (10/02-16/02) - Remove an unhealthy habit from our lifestyle.
Week 3 (17/02-23/02) - Walk 10K steps every day this week
Week 4 (24/02-02/03) - Spend 10 minutes each day on yoga or mindfulness
Thank you for your compassion and support.
