Our favourite charity Bedford & District Cerebral Palsy Society is turning 70 this year and are fundraising.
If you know Rose, then you know her favourite thing in the world is swimming, so Rose is going to swim 70 laps over the course of 2024!
BDCPS were a life saver to me and our family when Rose was first diagnosed with autism. I suddenly felt like I didn’t fit in with the moms I knew. I couldn’t relate to them and I felt alone. Then I found BDCPS and suddenly I was in a room full of moms just like me, but with experience and advice. Everyone I’ve met through BDCPS have been welcoming and I’ve always felt supported. They focus on parent carer wellbeing, and that’s been one of the most important things for me, learning how to take care of me as well while being a carer to Rose. I didn’t expect to never return to work and become a carer for my own child, but when life gives you lemons, you find people to help you make it into lemonade!
We are aiming to raise £70 for the amazing charity, if you can donate, every £1 helps! Thank you ❤️
