Hannah is taking on the incredible challenge of running 10K in memory of Matthew, supporting Age Connects Torfaen, a charity close to her heart. Matthew attended Age Connects Torfaen for a number of years after being diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia in 2014 at the age of 28.

This run is even more remarkable because, just over 4 years ago, Hannah was involved in a high speed car accident. Hannah had scoliosis of the spine and Hannah faced a future where taking part in exercise was not going to be possible. Hannah joined a group called "If you go, I go" that empowers ladies to exercise safely after experiencing personal struggles.

Through sheer determination and resilience, she defied the odds, and now she’s pushing herself further to honour Matthew’s memory while raising vital funds for older people in need. Hannah met Matthew whilst at school and shortly struck up a relationship. Matthew was a cheeky chap with the most infectious smile and laugh. Some of Hannah's fondest memories are spent with Matthew and his family. There is a void in so many people's hearts since Matthew passed and Hannah would like to give back to a charity close to the hearts of Matthew and his family.
