Refugees who reach Plymouth have come a long way, through horrific circumstances, that most of us could not even begin to imagine. When they get here their troubles are not over - they need help with basic existence, clothing, shelter, language learning, before they can start to earn a living for themselves and their family. I want to help people who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in a situation where they have lost everything in their lives, and are having to start again from rock bottom. I have been much luckier in my life. I would like to help others less fortunate. 😮
Just wanted to say Thank You to all those who have donated so far... you are so generous. It is heart-warming to think that others care too. Still a little way to go to get to my target of £150.00 but I am sure I will get there. Walked 25 miles last week.... not far, I know, when you are trying to walk from Syria, across Turkey to Greece, but its further than I thought I could manage. Thanks for the encouragement!
